“The Unsettling of America: Culture and Agriculture” by Wendell Berry

In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the publication of The Unsettling of America, The Berry Center, a non-profit established to institutionalize the work of the Berry family, organized the ‘The Resettling of America’ conference.

From April 4th to April 6th, 2013, The Berry Center asked notable authors, activists, farmers, sociologists, and agricultural Economists to return to the books principles and respond to the chapters in their area of knowledge. We wanted to discuss and better understand that challenges that we face in resettling America.

The DVD Box set of the Conference will be available soon.

We would like to thank our 2013 conference sponsors:

Could you please keep me informed of future events related to The Berry Center? Do you have a newsletter or bulletin? I teach agriculture in an elementary school in Dallas, Texas. I have been following Wendell since I first read The Unsettling of America in 1979. I didn’t know this conference was being held, and would love to have attended.

I’m curious, was Joel Salatin in attendance?
